I have worked in many, many different areas. This either means a) I am getting older, or b) I have the attention span of a particularly curious goldfish. Possibly both. I’ll try to describe these projects in more detail soon; but for now, here’s a definitely incomplete list of the topics they have touched on: what can, and cannot, be predicted, learning in natural and artificial systems, regulation and dysregulation of collectives, architecture of biological networks, the evolutionary dynamics of cancer, function and evolution of the eukaryotic genome, nonlinear dynamics of biological circuits, origin of life, design and engineering of synthetic circuits, quantum computing in noisy conditions, quantum state tomography, quantum process engineering, and quantum chaos.
